'DARLING LITTLE SILLIES, AW19'

 

Twenty-six upcycled pieces made for the collaboration with Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY. In a world of Lost Boys, Wendy, and Pan, re-inventing what materials they had to dress up and play make-believe would be second nature. Frayed chokers made of sash window cord, knitted y-fronts worn as hats, and knee braces embellished with dead stock Swarovski crystals were just a hand-full of the pieces made for the runway show held in the Wapping Hydraulic Power Station.

'As these colourful creations slink down the runway, the surrounding performance is an ode to community and to the almost-sacred beauty in shared ideas and collaboration.
