ØYEBLIKK 2020 COLLABORATION
Helen Kirkum is a footwear designer and maker based in London. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2015, Helen’s style of upcycled trainers has led her to work with some of the industries most established brands and companies.
Together, Matthew and Helen have upcycled a series of one-off footwear using five-finger deadstock donated by Vibram. Second-hand designer heels donated by US Vogue Journalist Sarah Mower were re-imagined by the pair with the deadstock, upcycled trainer parts and rocks collected in Bodø, Norway.
This collection of nine pairs of toe-heels and toe-trainers forms part of ØYEBLIKK / 2020.
